I was translating it just to gauge, once again, how much I agree or disagree with it, and for the record, I decline to answer, except to say that I disagree with the document considered as a whole, and remain outside of any Christian or monotheistic communion. [*Note: This is no longer true, strictly speaking. Since this was written, I have become quite enamored of the Episcopal Church.] So here it is:
I believe in one god, Father, all-powerful, creator of sky and earth, of all things both visible and invisible.
and in one lord, Jesus Christ, the only-becoming son of god, born forth for all aeons. Light of light, true god of true god born forth, not created, of the same being of the father, through whom all things become. The one who for us people and on account of our salvation came down from the sky and became flesh out of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary and became a human being, crucified both for us under Pontius Pilatus, and suffering, and being entombed.
And arising on the third day according to the writings.
And gone up into the sky and enthroned from the right hand of the father.
And coming again with glory to judge living and dead, of whose kingdom there will not be an end.
And in the Spirit, the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the Life-creator, the one proceeding forth from the father, the one with the father and son co-worshipped and co-glorified, the one (who) spoke through the prophets.
In one, holy, universal and evangelizing church. I assent to one baptism into the forgiveness of sins. I live in anticipation of the resurrection of the dead. And life of the coming aeon. Amen.
